Hello! My name is Andria Workman. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2008, obtaining my Master's Degree from Indiana University. I first started out in Skilled Nursing Facilities, treating swallowing disorders, and cognition impairments, as well as speech and language disorders, oftentimes due to stroke or traumatic brain injuries.  I then transitioned to the K-12 schools in 2009, taking time off from 2014-2017 and keeping it mostly part-time while I raise my two awesome boys. Having private pay clients helps me keep flexibility while providing a valuable community service to those who are seeking therapy for their loved ones.

No Waitlist

Openings are available during after-school hours 3pm to 6pm and weekends upon appointment. Currently, there is  no waitlist. Therapy can begin within the week.

Greater Intensity of Treatment

With CS, Your child will receive one-on-one treatment.

Public schools: High Caseloads, (Indiana has the HIGHEST SLP caseload numbers in the country) Groups of 4

Improved Communication

Get communication after every session

Public Schools: SLPs are only required to communicate once a school quarter in the form of a brief progress report, and once a year at their Annual Case Review. You may not receive any communication on how to help your child with practice in between sessions. If you have ever felt frustrated by the lack of communication or progress your child is making with their speech therapy, you are not alone.

Discreet Treatment

Your child does not have to be singled out at schoolTherapy via Zoom, In your Home.

Improved Carry-over of Skills

You can be right there with your child throughout the session, learning all the tips and tricks the therapist does so that you can help your child perform those same techniques as well between sessions.

Mission

Conveniently Speaking's mission is to provide quality one-on-one therapy for children with speech and language impairments online. We strive for fun, efficient and effective treatment sessions, alleviating the burden of transportation from parents, and expediting your child's progress, so they can be discharged from services as quickly as possible.

Vision

Here at Conveniently Speaking, we envision parents and children working together in collaboration with the qualified therapist to achieve therapy goals in a private, at-home environment, free from any embarrassment or stigma that may result from  your child being pulled from class. For those who are older teens or adults seeking therapy, we want to empower you with the techniques and determination to take charge of your speech and language challenges and reach your goals.
